Snack Delivery

Snack delivery will begin the first week of school for ECE
Snacks are delivered bi-weekly on a date that is building specific. Work with food satellite personnel regarding the specifics of snack delivery (ex. Delivery Location).
Snacks are not to be sent home with students

Meal Service and Menus

There is a snack cycle monthly menu which you need to post in your classroom. Appropriate portion sizes are included. There is also a snack count calendar that needs completed each day, and then sent to food services at the end of each month (email, fax, or school mail).

Important Notes

The Food Service workers in your building are not responsible for handling or distributing ECE Snacks. The CCS Food Service Production Center sends snacks specifically for ECE classrooms, and the school kitchen is only a holding area for the snack deliveries. No other snack items should be retrieved from the kitchen. Other foods, such as cheese sticks, yogurts, fruits, and vegetables cost more than the provided snacks and it alters the budget and inventory. Lastly, it is important that the snack calendars are turned in each month. The snacks for your classroom may be put on hold if calendars are not received regularly.

End of the School Year:

Any leftover snacks can be given to the Food Service staff in your building.

Expired Snacks:

Please fill out the Product Loss form (linked below) if you have expired snacks, then please turn in to the Kitchen Manager. Ignore the part about not discarding until Supervisor reviews.

Putting a Hold on your Snack Delivery

If you end up with an abundance of snacks at any point in the year and need to put your snack delivery on hold for a cycle, please directly email:
